I know what you’re thinking, there’s nothing ground-breaking about faux fur for Autumn Winter! So why am I dedicating a blog post to it, I hear you ask? Well my fellow fash-hun’s forget what you think you know about faux fur because this season’s furs are brighter and bolder than ever before!

Traditionally, faux fur conjured up major Cruella de Ville vibes however rocking fur the AW 17 way means blending in is not an option. Think bold toned, graphic and oversize furs to inject a youthful and playful appeal to your outerwear.

While I am still mourning the hanging up of my summer dresses and sandals (and slightly in denial about how quickly winter weather is creeping in) , I must admit I am beyond excited for autumn winter dressing and in particular coat season! While winter dressing needs to be more functional than summer dressing, layering up doesn’t have to equal boring. Coming in an array of brightly coloured hues, the new season fur coats are the perfect antidote to the dreaded winter blues. Happy outfit, happy mind am I right?!

  1. Loving your round up. With London Fashion Week at the mo and the colder weather London has the faux fur jackets out in full force. I’ve tackled which bags to carry with such coats and jackets. If you get a sec pop over and in the article ‘It’s a wrap’ you will see what styles are best advised.
